I first met Orren at SOFA sporting his signature glasses and a wild necklace

made entirely of puzzle pieces.  I thought he was a display - but he

 turned out to be a fascinating guy who is always on the lookout for outsider art and BLING. When I stopped by WINK the other day - Orren and Robert's shop at  

Sanbusco - it was filled with eclectic, one-of-a-kind stuff that you

just won't find anywhere else. Lots of pampering body care products - Kiehl's

 and Floris of London -  and  jewelry by Alexis Bitar,

 Jean Belancourt , Lori Kirsch, and Orren.

 

 

And lampshades, of course, and other lovely things...

Meandering the High Road to Taos

I got a hankering to meander the High Road to Taos - a 56-mile drive that

takes you into undulating hills, high desert, forests, mountains, and

tiny, Spanish land-grant and Pueblo Indian villages.

It's a beautiful scenic byway that begs to be photographed.

 Cemeteries and churches caught my eye...
